Reporting to the Manager Gas Services Eastern Canada, this position is responsible for ensuring client relations with AltaGas’ agency partners and ensuring accurate system entry of natural gas supply and transportation transactions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Effectively assist in the transaction of deals in a fast paced environment

  • Maintain relationships with AltaGas agency partners

  • Provide volume verifications and balancing reports to agents

  • Mandatory availability for on-call coverage evenings and weekends

  • Maintain accurate deal entry

  • Provide Gas Control with accurate deal information for timely nominations

  • Produce weekly market newsletter for agents

  • Assist with market quotes and margin calculations

  • Ensure proper contract and policy requirements are in place prior to any deal executions                                          


  • Completed degree or diploma in business, or legal administration

  • Is organized and is process oriented

  • Possesses the ability to develop contract documentation, control processes and accurately track status of transactions and contracts

  • Has excellent interpersonal skills, has the ability to communicate with various counterparties and internal customers to administer and track new customer transactions

  • Minimum three years’ experience analyzing and administrating in a detail and customer focused environment
