COORDINATOR, MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT

Reporting to the Director Technical Services, this position is responsible for the organization and management of the CMMS (Maximo), for providing technical support on maintenance activities to the field, and for developing and tracking maintenance KPIs for the business.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and execute maintenance and reliability strategies along with best practices for Gas Division Operations

  • Manage the work order and maintenance tracking systems

  • Identifying business process and system continuous improvement opportunities

  • Technical support to operations engineering and field operations with respect to the execution of maintenance activities

  • Prioritization of maintenance related tasks to ensure activities are completed in a cost effective manner

  • Responsible for communication and support of work orders issued to field operations in a timely manner

  • Provide training as required on the CMMS (Maximo)

  • Move organization towards a behavior of work identification, prioritization, planning/scheduling, execution and feedback

  • Enable the active use of failure coding for RCA activity and PM optimization

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related maintenance experience and education

  • Experience with CMMS – Maximo preferred but not required

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment

  • A technical diploma, inter-provincial trade certificate, or engineering degree is considered an asset

  • Understanding of CMMS implementations, operations and sustainment
