Reporting to the Vice President and Operations Controller, this position is responsible for influencing the entire organization by presenting information and analysis to executive decision makers. To direct and manage in an efficient manner the executive level reporting and analysis for the organization, including the delivery of financial and operational information to Management, the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors, and the Audit Committee.  The success and effectiveness of delivering the specific responsibilities is dependent on the individual’s ability to provide clear direction, lead courageously, act with integrity, inspire, motivate, and influence others.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide direction and oversight in the gathering, consolidating, and reporting of financial information throughout the organization

  • Manage the deliverables of the monthly and quarterly Financial and Operational Overview reporting processes by anticipating the needs of the business and effective communication with Senior Leaders throughout the organization

  • Transform data into information that allows Senior Leaders in the organization to make informed decisions

  • Deliver detailed analysis of all business segments to validate the expected operational, commercial, and financial results

  • Evaluate the uniqueness of each business line in the organization to create meaningful analysis that supports the business’ decisions

  • Partner with the Treasury, Tax, and Corporate Development groups to provide detailed analysis of the corporate financing activities

  • Provide clear direction in setting expectations for the quality and depth of analysis from each business segment which highlights the uniqueness of each business but at the same time maintains a high degree of standardization

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships throughout the organization

  • Set and communicate deadlines for achieving the deliverables in a manner that is both diligent and respectful by anticipating the impact on others

  • Provide clear and focused direction aligned with the availability of resources to achieve the desired goals

  • Provide direction over the efficient use of systems to automate the consolidation of financial and non-financial results for the enterprise in the delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly information

  • Identification of opportunities to enhance the efficiency of financial and operational reporting for both historical and forward looking information


  • A professional accounting designation (CPA) with at least 10 years of senior management experience

  • Ability to understand complex business issues and present issues in a logical and concise manner

  • Proven strong analytical skills working with complex businesses and accounting issues

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • An open and articulate communicator with strong analysis, presentation, and written communication skills

  • Good organizational and time management skills with a sense of urgency and ability to manage conflicting deadlines and commitments
