Reporting to the Manager, Billing and Operations, the successful candidate will be creative, look for opportunities to improve internal processes and provide exceptional support to the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) team.  This position is responsible for maintaining sound relations with AltaGas’ electricity and gas customers by providing post-sale internal and external customer support. 

 

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Contribute to team’s goal of achieving operational excellence, specifically through the enhancement of customer satisfaction;

  • Provide post-sale support and customer service;

  • Coordinate Accounts Receivable communicationand tracking;

  • Support contract circulation and approvals within the company;

  • Filing of executed contracts and supporting documentation;

  • Data entry of customer and contract details into deal tracking system;

  • Provide coverage for customer incoming call requests;

  • Maintain relationships with our channel partners to ensure efficient and timely transfer of data;

  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

  •  A post-secondary education or equivalent work experience is required

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills and PC proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities, taking on new expanded responsibilities as required;

  • Work well in a team environment;

  • Experience in the energy industry is an asset.
