Description

We are looking for a Project Manager IT!

The mission of the Museum Services Department is to shape the vision of the Museum's future and ensure its mission through the management of key resources, the development and implementation of short-term and long-term strategies and support of all basic activities.

The ideal candidate can manage various projects in the field of computer science. This may include needs assessment, follow-ups, decision-making, monitoring, as well as providing advice. He / she is on the lookout for current trends in the technology and procurement practices of the public sector.

Required profile

Experience in:

  • project management related to Information Technology, systems integration and infrastructure;
  • development of policies and procedures for Information Technology;
  • the preparation of reports;
  • working with Microsoft Office suite software. The use of AutoCAD is considered an asset.

Knowledge of:

  • structured networking (routing, switching, VLAN, WAN, LAN, WiFi, hyper-convergence);
  • network appliances (firewall, filtering, shaping, storage, Network Access Control, backups and replication);
  • IT infrastructure: Cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a, Fiber optics).

Education:

  • College degree in Computer Science or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Network certifications (CompTIA, CCNA/CCNP, MCSE), HP certifications (ATA-NetV1, ATP-FlexNetV2) or PMP Certification is considered an asset.

Compensation: $60,970 à $81,650 (E6)
Status: Permanent Full-Time Position (#90244-02)
Location: 100 Laurier Street in Gatineau (Quebec)
