Ocean Capital has a unique opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst, who is interested in a challenging and rewarding work environment and who will support initiatives across the group of Companies.  The successful candidate will join an experienced team of Information System professionals and work with an exceptional group of employees within our operating companies.

The Business System Analyst will:

  • Provide technical troubleshooting and maintenance for computer applications.
  • Support day-to-day operations of computer applications and 3rd party modules.
  • Work with business leads to define and document specifications.
  • Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.
  • Create macros, integrations, and managing reports for end users.
  • Management of change requests and the impact on the system.
  • Write documentation to describe program development, coding, corrections, as well as manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures.
  • Provide training to users as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in Information Systems or IT related training.
  • Experience with SQL server database (running SQL queries, fixing data, performing data extractions, creating reports).
  • Experience implementing or administrating CRM and/or ERP and/or HCM systems.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as SQL Reporting Services or Crystal Reports.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work directly with end users on requirements and support.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) training or certification.
