The Project Manager is responsible for project managing a portfolio of operational and business transformation projects.  A key focus will be introducing and leading best-in-class project management practices on a series of capital-intensive projects for the organization with a near-term focus on vessel maintenance and modification projects. 


  • Hands on project management over a portfolio of operational and business transformation projects across the organization.
    • Implement leading-edge project management tools and practices
    • Active participant in relevant project teams
  • Work closely with Projects & Technology and Operations teams and provide hands on project management of a series capital intensive projects, such as dry-docking, retrofit work such as BWTS, Bulbous Bow replacement and maintain discipline around:
    • project approvals
    • bid management support
    • cost estimates
    • deliverables and milestones tracking
    • analysis of critical path and related dependencies
    • cross-functional collaboration support
    • change management
    • timely project KPI’s reporting
  • Keep relevant stakeholders and Executive Leadership Team proactively informed of project progress, risks, and expected timelines and costs
  • Provide post project analysis and lessons learned
  • Develop best in class documentation standards
  • Manages other projects, requests or other duties as assigned  


  • Project Management Professional designation or equivalent
  • Experience with capital intensive infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders in the organization
  • Preference for those with Six Sigma or Lean mastery
  • Shipping experience preferred


  • Working with teams in different time zones will be required
  • Frequent travel may be required
