Reporting to the Equipment Manager, the Equipment Coordinator will provide support for Stuart Olson operations and sites. This position will also be responsible for organizing, cleaning, and maintaining the administration of the shop, fleet, and storage areas.
This position is based in our Winnipeg, MB shop/warehouse, located at 4146 McGillivray Blvd.

Shop Administrative Support
Apply Company guidelines pertaining to shop/warehousing and coordinate delivery to various work sites.
Provide support to the Equipment Manager with all related administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, the following:
Maintain inventory of shop/warehouse assets;
Coordinate equipment requests locally and remotely (Ontario);
Track and maintain accurate documentation;
Coordination of vehicle/equipment repairs and maintenance; and
Organize merchandise and upkeep of shop/warehouse and yard.
Backfill the Equipment Coordinator with related shop/warehouse tasks, which may require:
Lifting and sorting up to 50lbs.;
Vehicle cleaning and maintenance; and
Unload and load deliver shipments.
Perform other general shop/warehouse duties as required.

Lead and participate in corporate initiatives as requested
High school diploma
3-5 years’ experience
Proficient with MS Office software including; MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
Familiarity with construction and construction equipment a strong asset
Experience using SAP an asset
Forklift Certification an asset
Valid Driver’s license and acceptable drivers abstract; must have own reliable transportation to shop/warehouse location
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges
Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them
Strong organization skills
Self-motivated, action oriented and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently on routine tasks with a positive attitude
Highly developed customer service orientation
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in challenging, fast paced environment
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Site clearance is required
Overtime may be required
